26th July 2012: Over-booking!
All the girls gave birth and took care of the babies very good!
Hermione and Argitxo's babies can move from mom already. Hermione's look very good and big! Argitxo's are quite smaller because they were 13 comparing to the 6 babies that Hermione had. All are rex or rex carrier. Some other DS. I'll post pics very soon!
Alaia's babies are great. There are all long-haired and the colours are: chocolate, blond (x2), silver chocolate sable (like daddy. This one's the smallest), honey black and dove (the honey black will probably stay here).
Leah had a difficult time with her 13 babies and were very small in the beginning. They still are, but they're very healthy and gorgeous! I need to make them tame during the following weeks, as I've been in Spain for a week.
Cuddlecake had my "star litter". The 4 babies are incredibly big and gorgeous. There are 1 sable satin boy, 1 chocolate sable boy, 1 caramel girl and 1 caramel satin girl. All long-haired.
A sad note to this litter: Their granddaddy died last week in his sleep. He was at least 2,5 years, so the reason is most likely his age. He was a bit weak already although he ate and drank well until the end. That means that the babies have a pretty long-lived ancestors!

25th June 2012: Healthy babies born and more to come!
Hermione is being such a great mom. She had 3 girs and 3 boys! 4 of them are rex and 3 are DS. The little ones are being quite active at the moment! They're gorgeous!
Argitxo is also a great mom. All the 9 babies are healthy, although one boy is very small comparing to the other ones. I am feeding him apart everyday just to assure he'll receive enough food, but I actually saw him stealing food from one of the biggest brothers, hahaha. So I think he'll be fine.
Alaia also had 9 babies with wonderful colours! Some of them are silver chocolate sable, just like dad, others are honey, dove, chocolate...
Leah my gorgeous silver dove female is about to give birth too. Dad is Gus (black DS, p carrier) from my G-litter. I'm very curious about this litter as silver dove is one of the colours I love the most. Let's hope verything will be ok.
Cuddlecake will give birth in 2 days! This is a line I really want to keep. She has a very good pedigree and dad is Odei, my Spanish little guy. He's 1,5 years old and his parents have been very strong. His dad (Mowgly) is still alive with 2,5 years old and his mom just passed away with the same age due to an uterus infection complicated with her age. Strong and wonderful babies are expected. Fingers crossed!

12th June 2012: Back on duty!
After a break of some weeks, the litter planning has started again. On 16th April I became an aunt so I needed to fly to Spain very fast!! The baby girl born sooner than expected, so everything was so sudden. Luckily, she's a healthy gorgeous girl!!
Cookie had 2 girls from an "Ooops-Litter" with Pravandi's Hero. She was living in a Duna and managed to open the top door. She jumped from the cage and fell into Hero's cage, which was below. I saw them next day sleeping together and I hoped she was not pregnant, but she was... Hero is here as a pet, not as a breeding animal, so I needed to contact Ilse, Hero's breeder, and told her what happened when I saw two little girls running around the cage! With such a small litter I haven't even noticed that she was pregnant and it caught me by surprise. One of the girls is chocolate satin (already reserved) and the other girl is silver gray, satin carrier. Both long-haired.
Hermione, from Hamstery Pravandi -Hero's sister-, became a mom of 6 little gummy bears last week (5th of June). I expect 50% rex babies for the first time! Exciting! and 50% long and short hair. Daddy is Jordan, a cinnamon rex short-haired lovely boy from Peter Braak.
Argitxo, my champagne rex short-haired girl, also became a mom of 9 babies the same day as Hermione (5th of June). The expectation are almost the same as with Hermione, but in different colours. Dad is borrowed from a friend who bought him also from Peter Braak at the Exoknaag in December. I can see red eyes on some babies! he's black but he's carrying p. Let's see how they grow up!
Alaia, my chocolate three-coloured girl might pregnant from Thor (silver chocolate sable white banded long hair) and last night my absolutely beautiful girl Cuddlecake (offwhite satin long-hair) had her "funny time" with Odei (silver sable long hair). I am sooo looking forward to this litter! Both have a very good genetic background!

23rd March 2012: Better news!
Luna's babies are doing great! 3 of them survived thanks to Peach and they're a bit smaller than normally but healthy and strong. They're big enough to find a new home!
Peach did a great job with all the babies. It was quite stressful for her, but she did the best she could. Her litter is wonderful and they're also big enough to be re-homed. There are only 3 babies available!
Basha has had a beautiful litter as well. The babies are mostly cream, but there is also 1 chocolate white banded guy (stunning!). They're 8 and they're doing great. Basha is being a great mom.
Boreal, the mink (or probably champagne) satin girl who was re-homed to a friend of mine has been a mom with Gotzon. The babies are amazingly beautiful! One of my favorite litters so far. As soon as the babies are big enough, Boreal will be back at my friends to enjoy a comfortable pet life! There are several chocolate DS satin babies which have stole my heart :-)

14th February 2012: Bad and sad news
Luna passed away 3 days after she gave birth due to an uterine prolapse. She lost a lot of blood and the damage was too big. I brought her to the vet and they gave me antibiotics and pain killers. They asked me to wait 2 days to see if there was an improvement, but my poor girl was weaker and weaker and her colour was very pale. She couldn't maintain her body temperature and I needed to put some warm water bags and warmers in her cage. She passed away that night :_(. I passed her babies to Peach' nest.
Peach had already 11 babies and Luna's babies were also 11, so she had lots of work and stress. It was very difficult for her to handle that many babies and today, as I'm writing, there are 3 alive babies from Luna and 7 from her own. It seems that's things are stable now and since some days ago, I'm (extra) hand-feeding the little ones myself in order to help Peach in the hard task.

6th February 2012: New borns!!
Peach is a proud mom of 11 babies! More than a half have ruby eyes, so probably they'll look like mom! It seems that there's a tts girl, but I need to wait to confirm that. They look soo sweet and Peach and the babies are doing great.
Luna gave birth last night! I was entering in the room to see how she was doing and... surprise! I saw one of the babies coming out! It was amazing! I left her extra toilet paper and she started to cover the baby :). I'll check, if she allows me, how many there are when she wants to go outside for a short walk.
Basha was not pregnant! But I'll wait 2-3 days to be sure she's not delivering a small amount of babies. Due date is today! If she's not pregnant, she could be re-homed as it was the original idea when I received her in Spain. I'll be sad, though, as she's one of the sweetest hamsters I have. I'll wait to meet the other babies and see if I'll have enough space for her because, if I have a proper cage for her, she'll stay here :)

22nd January 2012: Baby boom??
Gorri had her litter on 5th January 2012!!! 6 beautiful babies (3 males and 3 females). Pictures from day 1 will come very soon! I'm working on the photo albums at the moment.
Peach didn't succeed with the litter, but I think she's pregnant now!
Luna might be also pregnant by Odei (hopefully!)
And Basha by Thor!

20th December 2011:
Yesss! Gorri & Gotzon and Peach & Thor had their special time yesterday night and the night before. If everything goes well, Gorri will give birth on 3rd January and Peach on the 4th!

16th December 2011:
Surprise, surprise!!! That's the 2nd time in only 3 months that I have an unexpected litter... You would say I would have learnt from the 1st time... I really don't know how they've done it this time, but Wagner managed to enter in Alaia's cage when I was preparing some Brinta for them. I wasn't expecting her to be pregnant at all! and during the moving to our new house in Sassenheim, I saw 2 babies in her cage. Oh my god! What a surprise! I'll try to make pics asap, but she has built a huge bunker with a tunnel to go in and out. She's a very protective mom.
